I went to a girls' cookie exchange last night, a very fun holiday party idea, and my Double Chocolate Peppermint cookies were a big hit. I just have to share the recipe with you.
I'm off to see The Nutcracker at the Kennedy Center! I'm hoping my friend realizes this is not a date! I am merely accompanying him to do something he's been wanting to do all season. It just so happens he bought my ticket, even though I told him not to. I'll be sure to do everything I can to make it clear that we're buddies. Just call a guy "buddy" and he'll know.
