Cherry Blossom Season

I wish this weekend was like the last. Gorgeous, not rainy. In addition to hitting up Middleburg for a few hours, I spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon admiring the cherry blossoms . . and weaving my way through thousands of tourists. My fourth spring here, I thought it about time I went to the Mall and saw them up close. As you can see, it was the day of the pink trees AND the pink cardigan. My friend and her adorable poodle came along. (Message to The Girl: Don't scroll down and look at the puppy. You might end up at the pet store this afternoon.)

Isn't it lovely?

Great pics L! Wish I would have made it down last weekend to see the cherry blossoms in all their glory in the 75 degree weather. This weekend not so much. P.S. love the pink cardi!

Gorgeous! All of it -- the cherry blossoms, the sky, the cardigan, the puppy, the monuments ...

So pretty!

What kind of camera do you have? I've wondered that a few times.
