Middleburg

Part of the fun that was last weekend included taking an evening trip out to the countryside with The Girl, my former co-worker and good friend. Both Midwesterners and design lovers, we can appreciate an occasional escape from the metropolitan area, especially when it involves cute antique shops like Bella Villa. We both counted the trip a success as we not only left the shop with something in our hands – or trunk, in The Girl’s case – but also enjoyed walking down the main street of this adorable town, even stopping for burgers at a local pub.

I can’t wait for the next excursion! I know of a place in Leesburg . . .
