Tomorrow I'm off to Florida where I will spend a week in Orlando with some friends and their children. I'm not sure how much time I'll spend by the pool with four kids to help care for, but JUST IN CASE, I thought I should go prepared. With this new Juicy bathing suit. In brown.
Out of curiosity, how much would you spend on a bathing suit? Or how much have you spent? Not that I'm feeling guilty about my purchase or anything.

If I looked good in it and loved it, $150 easily. I had a mother who taught swim lessons. Bathing suits were her wardrobe. She would often buy the same $60 suit in five colors (and that was 20 years ago).
I always look at things in terms of PPW (price per wear), but with a bathing suit, you can adjust however you want because feeling good in your skin is worth it!
i haven't bought an expensive bathing suit, basically because i'm really not comfortable in them. but, if i was thin i would totally buy that suit. it is so cute!!
SO cute!! The most I've ever spent is $80 on an O'Neill two piece that I LURVE. Yours is so perfect for working with kids and still looking smoking. I'm always on the lookout for that perfect one that I can wear ANYwhere with ANY group and be comfortable, look sexy, and not feel skanky : ) .
That swimsuit is so cute! I love it!
The most I've ever spent on a swimsuit was $70. It was a bikini. I felt weird spending that much on a swimsuit. But then again, I don't go swimming much -- and I get nervous spending anything over $60 on any piece of clothing. I'm a bargain shopper all the way!
well... i know how much that suit costs only bc i saw it when i was "window shopping" the other day and thought it was so cute.
personally, i would probably have a problem spending that much on a suit, but then again i don't have a job, or live someplace where people spend a lot of time in their bathing suits.
it is super cute though and no doubt you look like a hottie in it! have fun in florida!
I say if you have the money, a swimsuit is the perfect item to splurge on. There are so many ways to go wrong in swimwear, so if it takes spending more to get it right, that's just fine! Or if it's just absolutely adorable, like yours, that's good enough reason, too!
The most I've spent on a swimsuit has been about $80-$100. I always *try* to buy them on sale, but you know how that goes.
Have a great time in Florida!
I think around 60-70. I hate spending that much on something that gets so dingy so fast because I am constantly in the water and lathering up with sunscreen.
Your bathing suit is so cute and I hardly say that about one pieces.
I just bought one the other day for $116 plus tax & I'm feeling exactly the way you are. My problem is that I have a large chest & they just don't make swimsuits with a cup size bigger than DD. The one I found actually fits me, so I figure I'd spend $500 on it if I had to!
Have a blast in FL. My sister lives right near Orlanda but she's coming out to CA this weekend to see me!
love the bathing suit. i'm not sure how much that bathing suit cost because i've been avoiding the malls and online stores, ha. i can not be trusted. i have spent a good amount of money on more than one bathing suit. i try to get them at the end of the season on sale, but sometimes i can resist. if it fits well and you can wear it and feel great. i wouldn't feel to guilty! enjoy your vacation :).
You bought a JUICY bathing suit??? Their t-shirts are 80 zillion dollars. I don't even want to know what you spent on this (absolutely freakin ADORABLE!) thing.
Big boobs makes it hard for me to find suit that are supportive enough. I easily throw down $100 for a suit every year. For the PERFECT suit I'd probably pay upwards of $175... but it would have to be REALLY REALLY awesome.
sorry to break it to you but 'speaking the truth in love' is not gonna work w someone that does not believe that they are in the wrong by loving someone of the same sex. and christians have a hard time 'hating the sin, and loving the sinner' bc christians dont assciate themselves w sinners. being gay is not a temptation bc it is not a choice. and i dont know how ppl think they can compare it to other sins like murdering, stealing, lying, etc. bc since when does being gay make you a bad person? and explain how you are gonna love someone and completely reject or deny that they are gay bc like you said- it is a lifestyle. and yea it is sad that christians use scripture to explain their hatred of homosexuality but really- you just did the same thing.
and since youre in dc- tomorrow night:
7 pm – Film and Discussion: For the Bible Tells Me So. Through the experiences of five very normal, very Christian, very American families, discover how insightful people of faith handle the realization of having a gay child in a special screening of this feature documentary. A panel including Bishop Robinson; Daniel Karslake, filmmaker and producer; and Patty Johnson, chair of the Cathedral’s Mission Committee will respond. Free reservations required; e-mail lterrell@cathedral.org.
