My Name

There are 764,920 people in the U.S. with the first name L.
Statistically the 57th most popular first name.
More than 99.9 percent of people with the first name L are female . . thank goodness!

There are 320,966 people in the U.S. with the last name P.
Statistically the 68th most popular last name.

There are 818 people in the U.S. named L P.

So my name isn't super original. It's a pretty all-American name. But I like it!

I'd be willing to bet I'm the only Courtney K*** in the US. It's a 10 letter long German last name. And Courtney is a very NOT German first name (no one in my German family can pronounce it)... so the two together... Highly unlikely. Oh well. I still like it. :)

My maiden name is Adam, so I was always having to correct people and let them know that there was no "s" on the end. I grew up thinking that there must be nobody else in the US with the same name as me. Then my best friend went away to college and got her roommate assignment. Same first and last name as me. Adam, no s. What are the odds?

Thank goodness my new last name is unique. I've yet to meet anyone with that last name other than my husband, his brother, and his dad.

I clicked on that link to about names and it told me that there are no K** P** out there. Hello?!? Me! But I doubt there are anymore than me - mixing an Irish first name with a Polish last name (that everyone mistakes for Italian). Gotta love being a mutt!
